October Projects

Happy Halloween! This month, Unstoppable Kindness assembled 24 welcome home baskets for families moving into permanent housing and 100 sack lunches for women and children in need this fall.

2023 Baby Drive

We are excited to announce that our baby drive was incredibly successful - we almost quadrupled our original goal of 300 items! All together, we collected 571 clothing items, 30 pairs of shoes, 41 blankets and towels, 188 books, 20 games, 181 toys, 44 hygiene items, 5 lunchboxes, 4 car seats, and 46 miscellaneous infant essential items, for a grand total of 1130 items! Thank you so much to the Deerfield Farm community for working together to collect so many amazing items, as well as to Lisa Gardner and everyone who brought donations to Lope On In for all of your generous contributions. We know all of our collected items will make a big difference for children and families in need in Seattle, especially heading into the winter months. Thanks again for your support of Unstoppable Kindness and we look forward to our next baby drive in the near future!

Spring Projects

Here's a look at some of our spring projects! Last month we decorated and put together 150 sack lunches, and this weekend we assembled 50 hygiene packs for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Seattle area. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our organization and helps to make these projects possible!

2023 Coat and Can Drive

Our 2023 coat and can drive was a massive success! Thank you so much to everyone who brought in warm items and non-perishable food to donate, this drive would not have been possible without the generous support of our community. In total, we collected 238 coats/warm items and 174 cans/food items to help adults, kids, and families who are struggling in the Seattle area this winter.

Volunteering at Hope Place

This winter, Unstoppable Kindness prepared and served two meals for residents at Hope Place, which is one of Union Gospel Mission’s shelters for women and children. With the first group volunteering in November and the second in January, both prepared a baked potato bar dinner for the residents. This was an incredible opportunity for us to give back and also see first-hand the impact we can have on our community. Thanks to everyone who made this possible and we can’t wait to return to Hope Place later this year!
