Teens on a mission to feed the homeless
Seattle has the third largest homeless population in the United States. In 2020, 11,751 people were tallied in the point-in-time count in King County alone, with 47% living on the streets or in tent encampments. On the whole, Washington state is estimated to have a homeless population of approx. 22,300, and 30 of every 10,000 Washingtonians is homeless. The number of people living on the streets of Seattle has increased by 700 people since 2019. Find out how you can help stop this upward trend.
